Overview & Itinerary

DAY 01 – AMERICA – EUROPE – DELHI

Arrive in Delhi transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 02 – DELHI

Breakfast. In the morning visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, in the heart of old Delhi. Later we will visit Raj Ghat, where Gandhi was cremated, to continue with a panoramic view of the government buildings along the Raj Path and the imposing India Gate. We will also visit the Sikh Temple and the Gandhi Smriti where he lived his last 144 days. To complete our tour we visit the impressive Minaret of Qutub Minar of 72 meters. Tall. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 03 – DELHI – CHANDIGARH (by Shatabdi train )

Breakfast. Transfer to the railway station to catch the Satabdi train to Chandigarh in possible schedule of 07:20 - 09:55 or 07:40 - 11:05 hours.

Overview of the city to see the architecture of some buildings designed by the architech Frances Le Corbusier.

Later we will visit the Rock garden. Dinner and overnight..

Breakfast. In the morning departure to Amritsar passing through the Kapurthala villagePor la mañana salida hacia Amritsar pasando por el pueblo kapurthala where lived a Spanish Anita Delgado who married the Maharaja of this región.

Arrive and check-in at the hotel..

In the night, we will visit the Golden temple to see the evening ceremony. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 05 – In AMRITSAR

Breakfast. We will visit the Golden temple of the sikh religión, Garden Jalian wala Bagh, a historical place.

In the evening, excursion to the border of India Pakistan to see the changing of the guard ceremony. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 06 - AMRITSAR – DHARAMSALA (4 hours 30 minutes)

Breakfast. In the morning departure by road to Dharamsala, arrive and check in en el hotel.

In the evening we will visit the Norbulingka institute was founded in 1988 by the current 14 Dalai Lama in India. The institute is dedicated to the preservation of the Tibetan language and cultural heritage.

Later, we will visit the cricket stadium, the plaace is unique in India as it is located at a hight of 1,457 m above sea level and has snow capped mountains in the backdop. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 07 - IN DHARMSHALA

Breakfast. Today we will visit the Namgyal monastery (known as the Dalai Lama temple), it is the personal monastery of XIV Dalai Lama, the key role of this monastery is to help with the rituals that involve the Dalai Lama of Tibet. We will also visit the temple of Bhagsu Nath, an ancient temple, it is a silent temple and the numerous swimming pools in the area are considered sacred by devout Hindus. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast. Day free for personal activities, you could visit the monasteries, markets, etc. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 09 - DHARAMSHALA – DELHI

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the domestic airport to catch the flight to Delhi with posible Schedule of 12:35 14:05 or 13:05 14:50 to connect with the return flight. End of our services.
