As we head into Summer many friends head North. Winter was harsh and cold for many northerners and Summer is pre- dicted to be extra hot and dry. On Sanibel we had a great winter with great weather, friends, outdoor activities and good health.

Safe travels to our friends. May we see you all again this Fall, ready for those activities for which Sanibel and Island Seniors are so well known. Your Board is continuing to work with the City to move forward on the Core Development and plans for a new building. Send your ideas for new activities to Trish. Have a great summer! Katie

Since 1981 he has been a Principal of Planned Financial Growth located on Sanibel. His past also includes time in Washington D.C. where he served as Deputy Di- rector for VISTA Congressional Relations and four years working with the U.S. Congress- man William Widnall.

A native of Milwaukee, Bud also served as Assistant Director of Housing and Redevelop- ment Offices of the City of Milwaukee. He graduated from Marquette University in 1963.

His greatest achievement, however, was getting Eileen Kehoe to be his wife! Let’s all welcome Bud as our new Treasurer and to the Board of Directors.
