I have Never left the small state I live in, nevertheless the small town of WillowBend. You might think that I must've left at least once--wrong. My mother disappeared when I was little. People searched for a couple of years but quickly gave up, and ever since, I was never allowed to leave any farther than my town?s borders? not that I was able to leave before, but then I Definitely was not able to leave.

Well, enough about that stuff--who really cares about that? Anyways, my name?s Erin, Erin Laker, and I live in a large old house on top of a hill. A way to describe it would probably be: it's like one of those creepy old mansions you see in movies, lots of secret rooms, huge backyard (like 2-3 acres), on top of a very large hill. At the bottom of the hill when you enter, it has an old rust iron gate which runs around my entire back yard; a winding and twisting road leads to my house; tons of trees like a whole forest surround my house, and there are many twisting staircases.

I soon quickly finish my pancakes and head outside. Like usual it's dark and cloudy...but not rain cloudy, just cloudy? I sigh and quickly keep walking into the forest...it seems to get darker and darker the deeper I go, but I ignore it and quickly keep walking. I walk past a couple of small bushes, one seems a bit off-
