During the streak, Curry averaged 40.0 points (.541 FG%, .497 3P%, .903 FT%), 6.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. Curry joins Wilt Chamberlain (28 spans) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (six spans) as the only players to average at least 40 points per game on 54 percent shooting from the field over an 11-game span, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. • Named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Month for April, the eighth career Player of the Month honor for Curry and the 12th time a Warrior has garnered the monthly recognition. During April, Curry averaged an NBA-best 37.3 points on 51.8 percent shooting from the field (177-342 FG), 46.6 percent from beyond the arc (96-206 3FG) and 90.8 percent from the free throw line (109-120 FT), to go along with 6.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 35.2 minutes in 15 games (all starts). He became the first player in NBA history to average 35 points while shooting 50-40-90 during a calendar month and his 96 three-point field goals were an NBA record for a single month. Curry scored 559 points during April including 13 games of 30-or-more points. His 13 30-plus point games are the most in NBA history during the month of April. In any calendar month, Curry’s monthly total was surpassed by only two players in Warriors franchise history: Wilt Chamberlain and Rick Barry. • With 96 3-pointers in April, set a new NBA record for the most 3-pointers in a calendar month, surpassing the previous mark of 82 set by James Harden in November 2019. • Averaged 37.3 points and converted 51.8 percent of his field-goal attempts in 15 games in April, becoming only the fifth player since the 1976-77 NBA/ABA merger to average 35+ PPG while making at least half his shots in a month of 15 or more games played. The other players to do that were in January 1980 (36.9 PPG, 55.3%), in March 1982 (35.0 PPG, 51.7%), Michael Jordan in March 1990 (36.4 PPG, 55.2%), and Kevin Durant in January 2014 (35.9 PPG, 54.9%). (Elias Sports Bureau) • Became the first player aged 33 or older to score 30 or more points in 13 games in a month which he did inApril. (StatMuse) • With 11 straight 30-point outings, Curry has the longest 30-point streak by a player age 33 or older, passing Kobe Bryant (10), according to the Elias Sports Bureau. • With 47 points at Boston on April 17 and 49 at Philadelphia on April 19, Curry is the first player age 33 or older to post back-to-back 45-point games since Michael Jordan had 51 points on December 29 and 45 points on December 31, 2001 (@NBAHistory). • The 49-point effort against the 76ers gave Stephen Curry his fifth 40-point game in the month of April, passing Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan for the most 40-point games in a month by a player age-33 or older (ESPN Stats & Info). • Had made 260 threes through 50 games played this season. That's now the most through 50 games in a season in NBA history, breaking his own record by one 3-pointer. He had 259 through 50 games in 2018-19 (ESPN Stats & Info). • This season, has had six games with 10 or more 3-pointers (four in the last five games, two of those games he made 11 treys). That ties the NBA single-season for most games with 10 or more 3-pointers, set by Curry during the 2018-19 season.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 2021 PRESEASON GAME NOTES STEPHEN CURRY CONTINUED... • With over 200 3-pointers made this season, Curry became the first player in NBA history to have eight seasons with 200 or more 3-pointers.
