SYRIAN WINE
The domain Bargylus is located on the edge of the Bargylus mountain chain in Latakia by the Mediterranean.
Vines were already grown there 3000 years ago.
The vineyards gain their originality from the chalk and clay in the 900 meter-high ground that creates a
perfect balance of day and night temperatures.
The whole climate is supported by the influences of the western sea,
thus lending the wines a wonderful mineral-content and personality.

The Bargylus Blanc is a blend of 55 % Chardonnay and 45% Sauvignon Blanc and matures for twelve months in wooden barrels made of French oak. It is characterised by its bright yellow hue with a hint of green. It has the fragrance of limes and fresh mint and is refreshing, full-bodied and fruity with a pleasant acidity and a long, elegant finish.

With a composition of 50% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot the Bargylus Rouge matures for 14 months in French oak barrels, giving rise to a complex red wine with a dark claret colour and purple reflections.
