His market buildings were built in the style of 19th century Dutch architecture. Through the dreams and work of succeeding generations, the Dutch Market has grown into the Dutch Village, complete with houses, canals, farmhouse, barns, authentic Netherlands’ street organs, a carousel and many quaint shops.
