EVENTS & GATHERINGS 2019 Diar il-Bniet Rural Venues 1 the restaurant, the old wine cellar, the farmhouse kitchen, the lemon grove and the olive grove Diar il-Bniet prides itself on its use of home-grown Diar il-Bniet Group Menus 7 produce, freshly picked from the family-run farm a selection of bespoken menus using our homegrown traditional produce roughly 200 meters away. Their estate consists of over 600 acres of land covered in rich, dark, soil which is religiously ploughed and cultivated. This soil is home to Diar il-Bniet Activities 19 a number of different fruits and vegetables which are private classes, workshops and experiences grown according to the season. Whether you are planning a celebration, personalised gift or curating a rewarding experience for a business, Diar il-Bniet offers a unique selection of private cookery classes, rural tours and craft workshops inspired by nature and artisan skills. 1 THE RESTAURANT The restaurant is a converted village house with an open kitchen. Light and brights with a rustic and warm traditionally decor feel which seats up to 100 covers and 150 standing: ideal for celebratory dinners, afternoon parties and family gathering. 2 The old Wine Cellar 300 years old wine cellar with two wells which were used to press the indigenous maltese grapes of girgentina and gellewza. The wells are now converted and yet still visible and part of the dining space.The cellar can host 60 seated and 80 standing. Makes it perfect for private dining, workshops, standup receptions and meetings. The cellar opens out a courtyard and in summer will be traditionally decorated with fairy lights setting and outdoor decor. 3 The farmhouse kitchen A wood burning oven and a traditional style maltese kitchen that takes you back in time when our grandmother used to cook. Seated 60 and 80 standing, perfect for workshops, family gathering, gourmet tasting, kids farm style parties. Experience a nice traditional maltese ftira cooked in the wood burning oven, every friday and Saturday evening. 4 THE LEMON GROVE The Lemon grove is situated in the picturesque valley of Wied Ħazrun in Dingli. 1000 lemon Trees and lemons all year round, make it perfect for walkings tours, picnic lunches and yoga activities.Perfect for groups of up to 50, it is a chance to escape into nature and learn something new from the local farmers. 5 THE Olive GROVE The Grove is situated 5 mins away from the restaurant. Old olive trees which makes the perfect olive oil. The grove is ideal to host tasting events and farming workshops for large groups.
