Diar il-Bniet prides itself on its use of home-grown Diar il-Bniet Group Menus 7 produce, freshly picked from the family-run farm a selection of bespoken menus using our homegrown traditional produce roughly 200 meters away. Their estate consists of over 600 acres of land covered in rich, dark, soil which is religiously ploughed and cultivated. This soil is home to Diar il-Bniet Activities 19 a number of different fruits and vegetables which are private classes, workshops and experiences grown according to the season.

Diar il-Bniet offers a truly unique locations for the most memorable gourmet experiences at our rural village of Dingli. Whether you are planning a celebration, personalised gift or curating a rewarding experience for a business, Diar il-Bniet offers a unique selection of private cookery classes, rural tours and craft workshops inspired by nature and artisan skills.
1 THE RESTAURANT
The restaurant is a converted village house with an open kitchen. Light and brights with a rustic and warm traditionally decor feel which seats up to 100 covers and 150 standing: ideal for celebratory dinners, afternoon parties and family gathering.
2 The old Wine Cellar
300 years old wine cellar with two wells which were used to press the indigenous maltese grapes of girgentina and gellewza. The wells are now converted and yet still visible and part of the dining space.The cellar can host 60 seated and 80 standing. Makes it perfect for private dining, workshops, standup receptions and meetings.
The cellar opens out a courtyard and in summer will be traditionally decorated with fairy lights setting and outdoor decor.
3 The farmhouse kitchen
A wood burning oven and a traditional style maltese kitchen that takes you back in time when our grandmother used to cook. Seated 60 and 80 standing, perfect for workshops, family gathering, gourmet tasting, kids farm style parties.
Experience a nice traditional maltese ftira cooked in the wood burning oven, every friday and Saturday evening.
4 THE LEMON GROVE
The Lemon grove is situated in the picturesque valley of Wied Ħazrun in Dingli. 1000 lemon Trees and lemons all year round, make it perfect for walkings tours, picnic lunches and yoga activities.Perfect for groups of up to 50, it is a chance to escape into nature and learn something new from the local farmers.
5 THE Olive GROVE
The Grove is situated 5 mins away from the restaurant. Old olive trees which makes the perfect olive oil. The grove is ideal to host tasting events and farming workshops for large groups. Next to the grove, there are couple of vineyard where you can experience a grape picking around September.

We feel that organised events are the best way to pass on the traditions of our forefathers and our much loved Nanna Manan. With an Estate as large and as varied as Diar il-Bniet, our activties may vary from cookery lessons to beekeeping workshops in the rural areas of our island.

From complete beginners to the most proficient home cooks, our classes include practical and demonstration cookery sessions. Our old wine cellar is more than just a meeting room or conference centre, it is a complete venue, offering a bespoke service for your event in a relaxed environment and beautiful spaces full of rustic charm.
Our flexible spaces make us suitable for everything from small meetings to larger conferences up to 35 delegates. . We can host meetings, seminars, training courses, product launches, team-building events, and conferences.
Our beautiful traditional buildings feature business facilities and technology including projector screens, flip charts and WIFI.
We have a fully equipped kitchen and can offer welcome coffees, coffee breaks and also lunch/dinner . Tell us what you are looking for, and your budget, and we can arrange it for you.
Our Events Team will continue to work closely with you throughout the planning process to ensure that you have everything that you might need.
29 Private Dining
Whether you are looking for a work party, special meal or working lunch, Diar il-Bniet is the perfect place for your next event.
Our Farmhouse kitchen can accommodate up to 18 guests. For larger groups we seat up to 64 in our old wine cellar. Private Dining allows exclusive use of your chosen space for the duration of your event.
Our dining events usually begin with welcome drinks and canapés, followed by three or four courses of delicious seasonal menus prepared by our chef.
We have catered events for a number of high-profile clients, from embassies, worldwide Bloggers, governmental authority and renowed big companies around the island.
Our event coordinator will work closely with you before the event to meet your bespoke requirements and your host for the day will ensure your group has an unforgettable experience.

Drive Diar il-Bniet, about 400 metres through Rabat until you arrive at St Dominic’s Piazza with St 121, Triq il- Kbira Ħad-Dingli, Malta Dominic’s Church on your left. At this point the road bends right to Dingli (do not go straight on to Buskett).
