Calling all high schoolers! What’s next for you? This July, come learn about dance options in college and beyond at lectures and master classes by visiting university faculty.

JUSTINE SHEEDY-KRAMER July 7, 2015 Lecture: 12:30-2:00 | Master class: 9:30-11:30

Justine Sheedy-Kramer received her BFA and MFA degrees from the University of Utah Ballet department with emphases in Teaching, Choreography, Performance and Character dance. She studied and performed with Pacific Northwest Ballet School, Washington Academy of Performing Arts, and others, and toured nationally and internationally with Character Dance Ensemble and Eastern Artists. She is currently a Lecturer at Utah Valley University, where she teaches Ballet, Pointe, Character Dance, Senior Capstone and Music for Ballet Dancers. She has also established collaborative projects between the Department of Ballet and School of Music at the University of Utah.

MISHA TCHOUPAKOV July 17, 2015 Lecture: 4:30-6:00 | Master class: 9:30-11:30

Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, Misha Tchoupakov performed with the Bolshoi Ballet as well as the Colorado Ballet, Sarasota Ballet of Florida, Los Angeles Classical Ballet, San Francisco Opera Ballet and Vienna State Opera Ballet. He holds an MFA in Dance Pedagogy and Choreography from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. He was also on the faculty of the Royal Ballet School and served as Assistant Professor at University of Utah’s Department of Ballet. Mr. Tchoupakov is currently a Rehearsal Director, Judge and Master teacher for YAGP in New York, and in 2013, joined the faculty of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts as Assistant Professor of Ballet at the School of Dance.

Lectures include a Q&A, and are open to students and adults. Admission is $30 per person. Lecture + Master Class is $75. Master classes are for dancers 14+ with 3+ yrs on pointe.
