The Royal Ballet’s new production of Swan Lake is revived for the first time at the Royal Opera House.
Run features debuts from Francesca Hayward, Fumi Kaneko and Mayara Magri as Odette/Odile and Marcelino Sambé and Cesar Corrales as Prince Siegfried.

From March 2020, The Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake returns to the Royal Opera House. This first revival of The Royal Ballet’s celebrated production features debuts from Francesca Hayward, Fumi Kaneko and Mayara Magri as Odette/Odile, and Marcelino Sambé and Cesar Corrales as Prince Siegfried. The production won two Benois de la Danse awards in 2019 for Principal Vadim Muntagirov and designer John Macfarlane.
Celebrated as one of the most famous classics in the ballet canon and set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, The Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake, with production and additional choreography by Liam Scarlett also features opulent designs by John Macfarlane, breathing new life into this treasured heritage work. Featuring an array of enchanting solos, spectacular pas de deuxs and atmospheric corps de ballet sequences, this production of Swan Lake stands alone as a theatrical masterpiece refreshed for a new generation.

Swan Lake will be broadcast live to cinemas on Wednesday 1 April 2020 as part of ROH Live Cinema.
