Status 03/09/2020 22000 La Garonne St. S - Stolen Victim states since 02/27/2020 her apartment has 11:30am (Condo’s) Description been broken in to on two separate occasions. Miscellaneous Personal Property Victim advises that a family member has been going into her house again and taking things. Victim is sure that it’s a family member breaking in to the apartment because of the items that were taken. The family member previously lived at the residence, but no longer does. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

03/10/2020 25000 Greenfield Rd. Apartment door On 03/10/2020, Officers were dispatched to the 1:15am ( Apartments) was forced open. Apartment Complex in the 25000 Block of Greenfield Rd. reference an assault. The R/P stated he was attacked by unknown suspect. Upon arrival, Officers made entry on the elevator and observed several droplets of blood on the floor. Officers followed the blood trail to Apartment on the 8th floor and contacted the suspect. Officers observed suspect holding a small towel on the left side of his head. The towel was covered in blood from an injury he sustained from a fight that had occurred. He was treated and transported to Hospital for evaluation. Further investigation, Officer contacted the victim in Apartment on the 10th floor. Victim states he heard suspect screaming outside of his apartment door for his girlfriend. When victim went to the door it was suddenly kicked open by suspect causing victim to be pushed backwards. At this point suspect was standing inside victim’s apartment. The suspect began to throw punches at victim with a closed fist. Victim fought back and grabbed ahold of a broken chair leg inside of the doorway and struck suspect in the head to protect himself and stop the attack. Suspect then fled the area. It was later discovered that the suspects girlfriend had sought refuse in another apartment because her boyfriend was intoxicated and she doesn’t like to be around him when he’s drinking. The victim stated he doesn’t know the suspect and his girlfriend was never in his apartment. The suspect was later taken into custody after he was treated and released at the hospital.

From: 03/10/2020 29000 Westbrook Pkwy. High end clothing, Victim is renting home in the 29000 Block of 8:00am shoes & purses Westbrook Pkwy and is at the end of her lease and To: 03/12/2020 were taken. was packing to move out. 5:00pm Victim advises that persons unknown got into the residence by unknown means, went through her belongings and took several high-end clothing items, shoes and purses. On 03/14/2020 SPD, Front Desk Officer received a phone call from citizen familiar with the Home Invasion. The citizen advised that items stolen in our Home Invasion that belonged to her son were spotted at a consignment store in another jurisdiction. Officer reached out to the Police Department from that jurisdiction for assistance. Officers from that jurisdiction went to the store and spoke to a representative that provided information about merchandise that was given to them for consignment. The representative also provided information regarding the person(s) that brought the merchandise in for consignment. Possible suspect(s) were developed and incident is under further investigation.

SR - Both Stolen and On 03/12/2020, Officers were dispatched to Car 12:58pm (Car Dealership) Recovered Dealership in the 20000 Block of Telegraph Rd. Manufacturer Toyota regarding an Auto Theft that had occurred Model Camry around 12:45pm. Color GRY - Gray Employee (sales person) advises suspect came in Vehicle Year and wanted to test drive a vehicle. He only had a 2020 Body Style Work ID, (No Drivers License) so he couldn’t test 4D - 4 Door State drive the vehicle. MI Description The sales person drove the vehicle for the test Gray Toyota Camry 4 drive with the suspect in the passenger seat. Door Recovered Date/Time After returning to the dealership the sales person 03/13/2020 11:45am got out of the vehicle to show the suspect some of the other vehicle features. The vehicle was left running. The suspect slid across the center console, got behind the wheel and took off with the vehicle at a high rate of speed. The manager pulled up security footage for Officers and they observed the suspect who had identified himself as Dvonte Hadley, looking around at vehicles and sitting down in a cubical to meet with a sales person. The suspect is described as a B/M in his 20s, thin build, approx. 120lbs, wearing a black shirt, blue kimono, red pants, white shoes, a white purse, blue surgical mask covering his face and had black medium length dreads. The vehicle was recovered in the 14000 Block of Greenfield Rd. in Detroit on 3-13-2020 at 11:45am by DPD. No arrests were made. Oakland County Auto Theft Detectives and Southfield Police Detectives conducted follow up investigation regarding this incident. They developed a possible suspect and conducted a photo-show with the sales person who went on the test drive with suspect. The sales person pointed to the suspect in the photo show and stated, “that’s him”. He signed and circled the suspects photo. The suspect that was identified was a match to the name that was given to the sales person prior to the test drive. The suspect has been identified and is still at large.

S - Stolen Victim (employee) reported that her company 1:00pm (Discount Store) Manufacturer tablet was stolen while she was working at the Samsung Description business. She had the tablet in her cart while she Samsung Tablet was working and then it was missing. No suspect information.

Status 03/10/2020 20000 Town Center S – Stolen License Plate Victim states the license plate was stolen from 7:30am (Office Center) Manufacturer her vehicle sometime between 7:30am- 3:00pm. Michigan There is no information on what type of vehicle the plate was on.

Status 03/13/2020 28000 Telegraph Rd. I – Stolen Prescription Victim (employee) states she put her purse in the 9:08am (Car Wash) Description front office and was busy detailing cars. At the Unknown quantity of Adderall Pills. end of her shift she noticed that some of her Prescription Medications were missing from her prescription bottle that was in her purse. No suspect information.

Status 03/13/2020 15000 Northland Dr. S - Stolen R/P states she was receiving physical therapy 12:30pm (Office Towers) Manufacturer treatment at location and she mistakenly left her APPLE Model iPhone in one of the exam rooms after she was IPHONE 11 License No. Color done. Victim returned to the business to retrieve LGR - Light Green it, but it was gone. Description R/P was advised by staff who the person was, IPHONE 11, MINT GREEN IN COLOR that was in the exam room immediately after her. The person was identified as a client at the

business she works at. Victim used the "find my iPhone" app, and the cell phone pinged to an address near suspects residence. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

Suspect assaulted his mother, and forcefully removed the car keys from her hands. The

suspect got into the driver’s seat and drove off, leaving victim and her daughter on the side of

the road. Officers did an area check for the vehicle & suspect and neither were located.

The suspect has been identified and incident is under further investigation.

Officers administered Narcan to the subject and called for life support. The male did not regain consciousness and was pronounced deceased. The Detective Bureau was notified and responded to the scene to investigate. Evidence on scene indicates possible overdose.

Special Attention: Stolen License Plates: There were 3- Incidents this past week where Michigan License Plates were stolen from citizens vehicles. Two of the incidents occurred at same Apartment Complex in the 20000 Block of Wakefield Way and 20000 Block of Camden Square. See incidents below:

1) 03/09/2020 Between 6:00pm- 7:33am 20000 Block of Wakefield Way (Apartments) R/P states she parked her car on 03/08/2020 at approx. 6:00pm, and her plate was attached to her vehicle. When she returned to her vehicle on 03/09/2020 at 7:00am, her license plate was missing. Victims vehicle was parked in her car port in the parking lot directly in front of her apartment. Status S – Stolen License Plate Description Standard White Michigan Plate was on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee.

2) 03/13/2020 20000 Block of Camden Square (Apartments) R/P thought the license plate had just fallen off and he replaced the license plate on 03/03/2020. R/P stated a DPD Detective contacted him and stated someone had his license plate and was committing crimes. No further information. Status S – Stolen License Plate Description Stolen Michigan License Plate. Taken from 2006 Ford SW.

3) 03/10/2020 Between 7:30am- 3:00pm (20000 Town Center) Victim states the license plate was stolen from her vehicle sometime between 7:30am- 3:00pm. There is no information on what type of vehicle the plate was on. Status S – Stolen License Plate (Taken from unknown make or model)
