Did not even know about Spray Paint the Walls: The Black Flag Story book until a friend clued me in. It also feels a bit strange to write a history of Black Flag without contribution from Henry Rollins and Greg Ginn, who have very important roles in this story. A local newspaper reported on the show the following week. All this hunger could breed desperation of course, and something of the untamed frontier town still lingered about Los Angeles.
