Employment CSPC, Owner, (12/09 - present)  Facilitate live and online workshops on creativity.  Provide counseling/coaching using creativity as a primary medium for self exploration.  Use writing, videos, audios and speaking events as a way to communicate the importance of creativity and as marketing tools.  Gently guide others through the process of going inward, ensuring safety and support throughout the process.

Pacifica Graduate Institute, Teaching Assistant and Thesis Advisor, (01/10 – 05/14)  Assist instructors in the preparation of class prior to the beginning of the quarter and during class.  Provide assistance to students by answering questions about class material and ensuring they understand the class objectives.  Instruct the class when needed.  Grade papers according to class objectives and guidelines provided by the instructor  Guide students in the process of writing their thesis  Stay in communication with students and research coordinators throughout the thesis writing process  Read theses and ensure they meet academic  Gathered behavioral data, monitored progress, and maintained documentation on behavioral and academic goals.  Work with an array of professionals in the community.

Hawaii Department of Education, Behavioral Health Specialist, (04/08 – 12/09)  Served high school students by providing individual and group therapy those in need  Provided consultation to teachers and parents regarding behavioral, emotional, psychological and academic concerns  Gathered behavioral data, monitored progress, and maintained documentation on behavioral and academic goals.  Work with an array of professionals in the community.

Care Hawaii, Inc., Mental Health Technician (08/07-04/08)  Provided individual and group counseling to schizophrenic, schizoaffective, bipolar, and dual-diagnosed clients living in a group home.  Encouraged clients to develop and master independent living skills

Work Training Programs, Inc., Resident Specialist, (8/06-6/07)  Provided individual and group counseling to schizophrenic, schizoaffective, bipolar, and dual-diagnosed clients living in a group home.  Encouraged clients to develop and master independent living skills  Administered psychotropic medication

Child Abuse Listening and Mediation (CALM), Internship, (6/06-4/07)  Provided individual therapy to adults in the Adults Molested as Children (AMAC) program  Co-facilitated group therapy to adults in the AMAC program  Provided individual therapy to children with a history of abuse  Attended weekly individual and group supervision

Kapiolani Child Protection Center, Team Coordinator (12/02 – 11/04)  Organized team conferences when requested by a DHS Social Worker.  Wrote a pre-conference report summarizing the events of the case for expected participants.  Wrote a post-conference report including any recommendations and assessments made
