Kid’s Kaukau Challenge

Are you up to the challenge? The Kid's Kaukau Challenge is a fantastic, kid focused event that your whole family will enjoy! The ‘challenge’ is a fun run (or walk) up to the top of Mount Kaukau with a prize giving, participation certificates and some really great spot prizes
Whanau, parents and siblings can follow along up the mountain* or just join the kids for the food fiesta, games, wellness activities - and loads more that are waiting at the bottom of the Mountain! * (children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult)

After Wellington Synchronised Swimming’s fantastic results at Nationals in Auckland this month, we are holding some events to raise awareness and encourage swimmers to try this sport, which is re-emerging in New Zealand. Synchronised Swimming Gala – 11th November 3-4 pm, WRAC Kilbirnie. Come and see the trophy winning routines from Nationals. Getting Started Program Three sessions on Sunday 18th & 25th November 2nd December 2:00- 3:30pm at WRAC, Kilbirnie, near the dive well. With a new club house in sight, now is an exciting time to become part of this new era for Lyall Bay SLSC.
Lyall Bay SLSC offers the opportunity for all ages from 1 through to masters, in a variety of beach sports through to Surf Life Saving skills.
Our junior program is tailored to give your child the skills, confidence and attitude it takes to compete at local and national surf sport events through to becoming a qualified Lifeguard. We also actively encourage our community and have great opportunities to support the club and wider community.
All children at Lyall Bay SLSC are given the opportunity to compete, reach their personal bests and become part of the greater Lyall Bay SLSC family.
