The application was found to be complete by the rapporteur Member State. (5) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 844/2012 of 18 September 2012 setting out the provisions necessary for the implementation of the renewal procedure for active substances, as provided for in Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market (OJ L 252, 19.9.2012, p. 26). 10.10.2019 EN Offi cial Jour nal of the European Union L 259/3 (7) The Authority communicated the draft renewal assessment report to the applicant and to the Member States for comments and forwarded the comments received to the Commission. The Authority also made the supplementary summary dossier available to the public. (8) On 7 August 2018, the Authority communicated to the Commission its conclusion (6) on whether alpha- cypermethrin can be expected to meet the approval criteria provided for in Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009. The Commission presented the renewal report for alpha-cypermethrin to the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed on 24 and 25 January 2019. (9) The applicant was given the opportunity to submit comments on the draft renewal report. (10) As regards the new criteria to identify endocrine disrupting properties introduced by Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/605 (7), the conclusion of the Authority indicates that it is highly unlikely that alpha-cypermethrin is an endocrine disrupter via the estrogenic, steroidogenic and thyroid modalities. Furthermore, the available evidence indicates that alpha-cypermethrin is unlikely to be an endocrine disruptor via the androgenic modality. Thus, the Commission considers that alpha-cypermethrin is not to be considered as having endocrine disrupting properties.

One example is the use of small automated buses as a supplement to already existing public transport services. There are several manufacturers of these kind of buses, and field trials are in progress. The goal of the pre-project is to evaluate the feasibility and criteria for transport with automated buses in two middle-sized Nordic municipalities, Lørenskog in Norway and Borås in Sweden, by analyzing at least two different test-cases in each location. Feasibility, adaptation to existing traffic and conditions for public acceptance are described. The pre-project concludes that automated buses are possible in these two municipalities. Further test and demonstrations should be made. Strategy to provide an optimal bus depot. Antall sider (inkl. bilag): 131. Masteroppgave X Prosjektoppgave Navn: Stud.techn.: Natalia Ardanari Mjøsund. Faglærer/veileder: Prof. Nils Olsson. Ekstrakt: As a contribution to urban study, this master thesis discusses the strategies for establishment to an optimal bus depot, a transport infrastructure and facility that requires large area. The research study seeks to a greater understanding about the importance of a bus depot in urban development as well as the characteristics of an optimal bus depot. When there is growing needs in bus, there will be needs in increasing bus depot capacity. Failing to provide bus depot on time will stop bus operation. Bus depot has important roles, but its existence somehow invoke environmentally negative image for the community. People want the continuity of bus operation, but not depot as neighbor. Following research questions are raised in this master thesis: - What are the characteristics of an optimal bus depot? - How would selected regions provide an optimal bus depot to their transport system? The experiences from selected regions to provide a bus depot to the transport system are investigated. Oslo, Akershus, Hordaland, Stockholm, and Trondheim are chosen as the case study in this master thesis as they rely on bus mode as important public transport and they have continually focused on providing optimal bus depot.
