A glorious day down at the Allotments !

A glorious day in a wonderful setting awaited the steady stream of visitors to the Merriott Allotments on Sunday 15th May.

Many people commented on the lovely views and ambiance at the site and were happy to just sit and relax in the sunshine while they enjoyed a glass of Merriott Cider, apple juice or strawberry wine. There were also home made cakes, hot dogs, beef burgers and bacon rolls. The seed and plant swop was a great success too.

The children’s competition was won by Ava Plant, Emily Bending and Gracie Plant. Beryl Bellamy Secretary - Merriott Allotment Association
