To com- plete the game, you’ll need to reach your reading goal as well as attend a certain number of programs at the library. Instead of a game board, teens will receive BINGO cards. Reading goals vary depending on age and grade: Birth – Entering 2nd Grade: 24 books & 4 programs Entering 3rd – 6th Grade: 10 books & 4 programs Teens (Entering 7th-12th Grade): 6 books & 4 programs

Ticket to Play! Once registered for the Read for the Win summer reading program every participant birth-12th grade will receive a Ticket to Play. This pass is all that you need to attend age appropriate programs and events at the library. Individual program registration is not necessary. All you need to do is show your Ticket to Play to library staff to attend the event. ** How It Works:

 Children MUST show their Ticket to Play to attend. Note that all programs will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

 Ticket to Play passes are color coded by age. Each event will indicate the ages/colors the program is intended for and you must have the appropriate color to participate.

 Space and supplies are limited in some events. Presenting a Ticket to Play is NOT a guarantee for attendance because the program may fill up and meet limitations. Again, programs are filled on a first come, first serve basis.

 Please arrive promptly for all programs. We do not want to disturb the program in process. **Book Buddies and Books & Ballerinas need additional registration. REMEMBER: Always bring your “Read for the Win” game board and your Ticket to Play to the library. Prizes cannot be awarded unless chil- dren can present both of these to the library staff. Anyone who volunteers needs to attend a training session to learn the basics and expectations. During this session you will also receive your volunteer schedule and t-shirt. Please mark the session on the application that works best for your schedule. Volunteers will receive a phone call confirming their spot in the program and their training session. Volunteer Training Dates Tuesday, June 7th at 7 p.m. or Wednesday, June 8th at 3 p.m. or Thursday, June 9th at 5 p.m.
