Additional information: Coordinator’s Report on the Corridor: http://ec.europa.eu/transport/themes/i The Action contributes to strengthening additional route sections between nfrastructure/ten-t-guidelines/corridors Saarbrücken and Ludwigshafen for a maximum admissible speed of v = 200 km/h and to interconnecting the high-speed lines of France and Germany. It European Commission addresses studies and works related to the section Saarbrücken– http://ec.europa.eu/transport Ludwigshafen and includes six activities. The studies will include planning the remodelling of the Einsiedlerhof–Vogelweh section and of Landstuhl Innovation and Networks Executive station as well as revising the planning of the ETCS trackside equipment Agency (INEA) between the German/French border and Ludwigshafen. http://ec.europa.eu/inea This Action's works include constructing the subsurface strengthening of the Neustadt–Böhl/Iggelheim section, constructing the renovation of the superstructure and of the overhead contact wire system of the Neustadt– Böhl/Iggelheim section, constructing the section between Landstuhl and Kaiserslautern including remodelling Landstuhl station and finally implementing the ETCS trackside equipment between the German/French border and Ludwigshafen.
