The Supernova International Fest is back and better than ever in 2020! The festival will be heading to the beach on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay on June 12-14, 2020 and will take place at Oozlefinch Brewery at historic Fort Monroe National Monument, a 200-year old fortress, in Hampton, Virginia.

Fans of Supernova raised a jaw dropping $70,000 on Kickstarter to keep the festival going and 2020 will feature a world-class list of bands including Hepcat, , The Planet Smashers, , Mustard Plug, , El Salvador’s Adhesivo and a ton more. The Cherry Poppin’ Daddies are even coming to play a very rare all ska set.

The festival prides itself on a mixing legendary artists with ska bands from all eras. Foundation ska musicians like and have shared the stage with bands like The Aggrolites, The Suicide Machines, and The Skints over the years. Supernova keeps this trend alive in 2020 as Jamaican icons The Skatalites and influential American third-wave ska bands and Bim Skala Bim join the next generation of artists like The Big Takeover, Catbite, The Loving Paupers, and Stop the Presses!
