The Festival House Bregenz is situated very close to the central station of Bregenz (walking distance of approx. 5 minutes).

The next smaller airports are: St. Gallen – Altenrhein in Switzerland (22 km) and Friedrichshafen in Germany (33 km)
Arriving by car: from Vienna and Innsbruck Motorway A14 - exit to Bregenz City-Tunnel – turn right after the tunnel – after approx. 400 m turn right – go over the bridge (look fort he „Festspielhaus“ sign) – after the bridge turn right into the parking lot in front Motorway A 14 of the Festpielhaus (vignette obligated) from Switzerland Motorway-exit St. Margrethen – direction Bregenz - across the border at Höchst (A) – turn right at the traffic lights – follow the B 202 to Bregenz Motorway (pass Fussach and Hard) until you see the sign „Festspielhaus“ – turn right (vignette obligated) and go over the bridge - after the bridge turn right into the parking lot in front of the Festpielhaus.
From Germany Motorway A14 – Pfänder-Tunnel – take the first exit after the tunnel to Bregenz City-Tunnel – turn right after the tunnel – after approx. 400 m take Motorway A 14 a right turn – go over the bridge (look fort he „Festspielhaus“ sign) - after (vignette obligated) the bridge turn right into the parking lot in front of the Festpielhaus
Interstate from Lindau B 190 to Bregenz (along the lake) – follow the signs to Switzerland (CH) – aprox. 800 m after the railway station turn left on to the bridge (look fort he „Festspielhaus“ sign) - after the bridge turn right into the parking lot in front of the Festpielhaus

Motorway - toll vignette mandatory: For the use of motorways in Austria a toll vignette is mandatory. A toll vignette for 10 days validity costs 7.60 EUR and can be purchased at the Austrian border, at petrol stations and at some kiosks.
In Switzerland where also a toll vignette is mandatory for the use of motorways; only an annual vignette is available which costs 40 CHF (27 EUR). The validity of the Swiss toll vignette is 14 months, it starts 1st of December of previous year and ends 31st of January of the following year of that what is indicated on the vignette.
parking space: Visitors arriving by car will find several large parking facilities in Bregenz. parking fees: At the "Parkpatz Ost" which has a capacity of 650 parking places (nearby the Festival House) a day ticket costs 4.5 EUR. The ticket can be purchased at the ticket machine at the car park.
Free of charge parking space is available at the "Parkplatz West" (approx. 700 parking places) which is located behind the football stadium. The walking distance to the Festival House is approx. 10 minutes.
