INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (The Employer) has allocated funds through ADP-FY, 2018-19 towards the cost of scheme “Construction of Boys Inter College Choki Tehsil Samahni District Bhimber”. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders:

2. The Employer invites sealed bids under single stage – one envelop bidding procedure, from eligible firms or persons licensed by the Pakistan Engineering council in the category C-4 and above with specialization cod CE-10 for wor k at duly endorsed by the Employer. A foreign bidder is entitled to bid only in a joint venture with Pakistani contractor in accordance with the relevant provision of PEC by-laws.

3. Eligible bidders may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the Bidding Documents from the Office of the Employer, at Office of the Executive Engineer PWD Buildings Division Bhimber AJK.

4. A Completed set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by an interested / eligible bidder on submission of a written application to the Executive Engineer PWD Buildings Division Bhimber AJK before 27-05-2019 during office hours, upon payment of a non- refundable fee of RS. 6000/-

5. Eligible bidders with the following qualification should participate in the bidding process viz”

(a) Has completed at least one contract of similar nature of works, with a value of PKR. 50.24 million Of work during the last 5 Year. (b) Has an average annual turnover of minimum PKR. 43.06 million During the last three years.

6. Biding will be done on “AJKCSR” 2nd semi-annual (Jan to June) 2018-19 District Bhimber above/ below and non CSR item rate. Constructor has to write his bid in BOQ in figure up to 2 decimal (only two digits after decimal will be considered).

7. Sealed Bid must be submitted in office of the Executive Engineer PWD Buildings Division Bhimber AJK on 28-05-2019 at or before 11:30 hours. Bids will be opened at 12:30 hours on the same day, in the presence of bidder’s representative who choose to attend at the same address.

8. In case the amount of bid offered cost more than 10%, the bidder shall provide with the bid additional performance security in the shape of CDR as per instructions to bidders clause 28.4.equal to the amount of difference between the estimated cost and the bid cost failure to provide the said additional performance security with the bid. The bid shall be considered as non-responsive and rejected.

9. The undersigned / employer has right to reject on or all bids along with mentioning the reasons clause IB.30.
