SUBJECT: 8th Meeting of the IAEA’s EMRAS* TRS-364 Working Group, UIC, , , 6–8 June 2007

I am pleased to invite you to participate in the above mentioned meeting, the purpose of which is:

⎯ to discuss the second draft of the TECDOC on radioecological models and parameters for radiological assessments, prepared in support of updating TRS-364;

⎯ to discuss the contributions made to the updating of TRS-364;

⎯ to discuss current state of the publications for the special JER issue; and

⎯ to plan the work for the next period with the perspective of providing final drafts of the above documents for this year’s 5th EMRAS Combined Meeting (5–9 November 2007).

This Working Group Meeting is being hosted by IRSN. Full details of the meeting venue are included in the attached information sheet, along with details of suggested hotels, directions and instructions, and contact persons at IRSN.

It is understood that this meeting will be cost-free to the IAEA.

Please note that in order to allow sufficient time for travel to and from the meeting, visas should cover the period 4–10 June 2007, as necessary. Help in obtaining an additional invitation letter for visa purposes, should it be necessary, can be obtained by emailing the hosts of the meeting (Email: [email protected]) with the message title “Visa assistance required: 8th EMRAS TRS-364 Working Group Meeting”.
