Both IBRD loan disbursements and afforestation progress are running ahead of schedule. It was pleased to see that the concept of the afforestation models, which promote appropriate ecologically stable mixed tree planting in degraded areas, have been large accepted by project entities and farmers. It is also noted that the community consultation process has been mainstreamed and appreciated by participating communities and households. In addition, the technical support and extension activities, as well as the project monitoring and evaluation programs also appear to be working well. Public Disclosure Copy
