Avengers Endgame is the final instalment of The Avengers series; the entire Marvel universe has been building up to this film. Endgame is the next part after Avengers Infinity War where the mad Titan Thanos was on a mission to collect all the and wipe out half of the universe. At the end of the film he collects all the stones and snaps his fingers and only a handful of avengers are left. So in Endgame the avengers are on a new mission to make everything right again.

The film was directing by the Russo brothers; one is called Anthony Russo the other is Joe Russo. And it was a massive hit all around the world. Tickets sold for opening weekend almost immediately with the majority of the world wanting to see the end of an era.

Overall, Endgame is one of the greatest films of our generation, rounding off 11 years of 22 amazing, breathtaking films. Avengers Endgame absolutely smashed the box office with an amazing $1.2 billion opening weekend. Along with the biggest Thursday night preview of $60 million (this record was previously owned by The Force Awakens) along with the biggest Friday opening, Saturday opening and Sunday opening it was the the 8th Marvel film to cross $1 billion.

The reviews for this film are mind blowing with IMDb reviewing it 9/10. Rotten Tomatoes rating it 96% and the fans love it even more. Critics saying that: “It's a thrilling conclusion and a deeply emotional exploration of loss and love, duty and honour, friendship and family.” “There are unexpected twists and moments of hilarity, as well as more serious scenes and themes.”
