Cenchrus orientalis, Manihot grahamii, Melica chilensis and Panicum capillare subsp. hillmanii are probably reported for the first time from Spain, while Aloe ferox, Canna ×generalis, Cenchrus setaceus, Convolvulus farinosus, Ficus rubiginosa, Jarava plumosa, Koelreu- teria paniculata, Lycianthes rantonnetii, Nassella tenuissima, Paraserianthes lophantha, Plumbago auriculata, Podranea ricasoliana, Proboscidea louisianica, Sedum palmeri, Solanum bonariense, Tipuana tipu, Tradescantia pallida and Vitis ×ruggerii are reported for the first time from the province of Tarragona. Several of these are potential or genuine invasive species and/or agricultural weeds. Miscellane- ous additional records are presented for some further alien taxa with only few earlier records in the study area. El castell d’Escornalbou és una mansió senyorial que ajunta monestir amb castell, situat a l’antic terme d’Escornalbou (derivat del llatí Cornu Bo- vis, «el corn del bou»), avui Riudecanyes al Baix sar que la muntanya d’Escornalbou i el seu en- Camp. torn ja eren coneguts i habitats tant en l’època neolítica, com en temps dels ibers. Foto: ReusDiari.cat Després de l'acord amb la funerària de Reus i el Consell Comarcal del Baix Camp, per estendre els serveis funeraris per la comarca, s'ha decidit que Riudecanyes, sigui el nou municipi que obri una sala de vetlla. El darrer Ple del Consell Comarcal va aprovar el projecte inicial d'adequació i equipament de la sala de vetlles de Riudecanyes, que compta amb un pressupost d'execució per contracte de 75.443 euros, superior al que es preveia inicialment. Donarà serveis als municipis de l'Argentera i Duesaigües. En aquesta primera fase dels nous Serveis Funeraris de Reus i Baix Camp es preveu la posada en marxa de cinc sales. La de Castellvell i Pratdip ja estan en funcionament, però encara falten la de Riudecols, Prades i Riudecanyes. La inversió, per dur a terme tot això, serà d'uns 184.000 euros, dels quals 150.000 els aporta el Consell Comarcal en el marc del pla d'inversions inclòs en el conveni únic amb la Diputació de Tarragona. La resta seran aportacions dels Ajuntaments. Per això està previst que Prades i Riudecanyes hagin de completar amb finançament municipal l'aportació del Consell Comarcal, que podrà finançar íntegrament els equipaments de Castellvell, Pratdip i Riudecols pel seu cost menor. La primera sala de vetlla dels nous serveis funeraris es va estrenar el passat mes de desembre a Castellvell del Camp.

INTRODUCCIÓN: LA TRANSACCIÓN ENTRE LA CORONA Y LA MITRA DE TARRAGONA DE 1391 En fecha 4 de diciembre de 1391, el rey Juan I y Ennec [Iñigo] de Vallterra, arzobispo de Tarragona, se encontraron en Vilafranca del Pene­ dés, donde firmaron un contrato de venta por el cual el primero traspasaba al segundo todos los derechos que tenía sobre diversos lugares del Camp -territorio situado en el hinterland de la ciudad de Tarragona- a cambio de una importante suma de dinero. A priori, las razones de este traspaso masivo de derechos regios parecen evidentes: el rey necesitaba fondos con urgencia para financiar la armada que pensaba enviar a la isla de Cerdeña con el propósito de reducir la revuelta iniciada por Brancaleone Doria.
