Mainland Headwear's subsidiary DPM teams up with League. Becomes official sideline headwear supplier ***

(Hong Kong, August 29, 2002) – Leading casual headwear designer and manufacturer Mainland Headwear Holdings Limited (“Mainland Headwear” or “the Group”) (HKSE Stock Code: 1100) today announced that its 85.72% subsidiary, Drew Pearson Marketing, Inc. (“DPM”) has agreed to terms with the (“AFL”) in the USA to be the “Official Sideline Headwear Supplier” and a retail licensee through the 2004 . The deal will include headwear allotted to the teams and the League, as well as “Official Championship” product. Through this AFL agreement, DPM would increase their current partnership with Arena Football as they are currently the Official Sideline Headwear provider for arenafootball2.

Mr. Ngan Hei Keung, Chairman of Mainland Headwear, said, “Further to Drew Pearson International's success in acquiring an exclusive master license for the “Mudd” brand in Europe, we are excited that DPM has also added the AFL to our unparalleled licensing roster of professional leagues. The Arena Football League consists of 23 teams (16 active for the 2002 season). An additional 7 expansion teams have already been approved to begin to play over the next 3 years. The AFL and NBC Sports have reached a network broadcast agreement to begin February 2, 2003.

Mainland Headwear now serves over 60 world-renowned brand names such as TRAC, Warner Brothers, NBA, MLB, NCAA, NHL, Ferrari, Nike, NASCAR, , Timberland, , , , etc. Apart from its aggressive expansion in the US market, the Group is also active in developing the European, Australian and Asian markets.
