ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY Established in 1929, AAU provides an inclusive admissions policy to all students, but imposes a rigorous curriculum that requires the students to produce a portfolio of work that demonstrates a mastery of their field in order to graduate. The Academy’s hands-on curriculum produces graduates who possess outstanding artistic and design skills and the ability to put those talents to work immediately after graduation. PRATT INSTITUTE Pratt Institute’s Fashion Department offers students a concept-led, craft-based education that is trans-disciplinary in nature, and closely allied with illustration, photography, film, performance, visual studies, and material culture. CALIFORNIA # COLLEGE OF THE ARTS MENSWEAR ZEWEI HONG CCA was founded in 1907 by Frederick Meyer to provide an WEBSITE INSTAGRAM education for artists and designers that would integrate both theory and practice in the arts. CCA's Fashion Design program is a creative laboratory that cultivates visionaryShare thinking, proposes disruptive design solutions and creates new aesthetics reflecting the zeitgeist and context of design in the 21st century. Fashion future is authenticity. To me, luxury is living authentically. Living authentically is a matter of admitting the limitation of one’s life, yet still maintaining the dedication to life and staying thankful each day. Regardless of one’s socioeconomic status and earnings or losings, to live authentically is to live with dignity and pride. This is the most luxurious gift we can give ourselves. With my collection, I was inspired by Chinese rural workers – their work ethics, dedication, and dignity. I want to document their life more than just define and shape a distinct character for them. SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN SCAD's rigorous curriculum is structured around principles of design, unbounded creativity and state-of-the-art technology. The SCAD Fashion program has deep industry connections, and top fashion trendsetters visit and work with students frequently. With the tutelage of award-winning, experienced faculty and visiting mentors, students master the full spectrum of fashion — from the conceptual to the commercial.
