Before disconnecting and removing the throttle body assembly, mark location of linkages, cables, clamps and cohnectors to indicate proper installation. 3. When removing gasket (9), make sure that surface of the throttle body and upper intake manifold are clean. lf scraping is necessary, d.on't allow materialto drop into manifold. 4. Before removing TPS (5), note location of the electrical connector to the throttle body (8) to indicate proper alignment during installation. 5. lnstall parts and components in reverse order of removal. 6. When installing TPS, make sure electricalconnector is pointing foward away from manifold. 7. Tighten nuts and as specified in torque table below.
