GTW DMU-2 2/6 and GTW 2/8 low-floor for Arriva,

Arriva is procuring a total of 51 new diesel articulated , 29 in the

GTW 2/8 design and 22 in the GTW 2/6 design, for regional rail service in the provinces of Groningen and Friesland; the service will connect the towns Harlingen, Stavoeren, Roodeschool, Delfzijl, and Leer in with Groningen and Leeuwarden. Of the 43 articulated railcars, 8 are equipped to travel across the border to Germany.
