IR : 2 Operating Principle Accurate and Reliable English The injector is installed directly in the diesel line using no electricity only diesel pressure as the power source. The diesel drives the polymer gear assembly sealed with patented elastomer wipers. The gears then turn a bearing supported crank assembly with a reciprocating suction mechanism (dosage piston). This draws a preset amount (lower end setting) of chemical from an open container into the injector. These models are designed to inject diesel additives that are recommended and approved for injection into diesel systems. lt is the responsibility of the operator to determine the correct dosage settings of the unit using the chemical manufacturers’ recommendation for dispensing their product, and to assure that proper dosage is being maintained. Maintenance and Warranty Dosmatic offers a three year limited warranty from the original date of purchase for manufacturing or materials defects only.
