Fredric S. Goodman President Dear Neighbors, desk Don’t wait until the first day of spring on March 20 or the first day of summer on June 21 to start planning for the warm, sunny weather.

We have outlined many activities and programs to help everyone in your family Mark Wachter reconnect with friends and neighbors after a very long winter. Vice President Of special note is the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center opening for weekends starting on Memorial Weekend with the official season starting full-time on June 13 until September 1. That’s over 80 days to be outside enjoying the sights, sounds and feel of our Aquatic Center.

Memberships for Beachwood Residents are available in the Recreation Office Martin S. Horwitz starting March 24. Remember that two forms of residency are required (i.e. a current utility bill and ID.)

In addition to our five city-operated day camps that run for seven weeks, we are also featuring over 40 one-week specialty camps. Complete registration information starts on page 18. Alec Isaacson New this year is our INSIDE/OUTSIDE Summer Concert Series. Starting in June thru August, we will offer free summer concerts twice a week. On Tuesdays – the concerts will be OUTSIDE at the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center and on Thursdays – the concerts will be INSIDE in the Beachwood Community Center. A complete listing of the musical selections will be available in May.

Melvin M. Jacobs It is our goal to provide everyone an opportunity to be a part of this great City by partaking in a special event, program, class or concert.

Thank you for this opportunity to serve you. I look forward to seeing you at one of our programs this summer.
