Matthew (Matt) Acton is a senior Spanish and Music Performance double major from Plainfield, . The 2014-2015 academic year will be Matt’s third year on staff, and he was also a summer CRA two years in the past. Matt loves the open-mindedness of the students on campus, and the opportunities that DePauw has given him. He’s a member of the School of Music, he loves Ultimate Frisbee, and he’s involved in Order of Omega and Mu Phi Epsilon, along with also being a member of a Greek Chapter on campus. Matt is a CRA-SLS Mentor for the academic year.

Demar Ayee is a senior Economic and French double major from Brooklyn, New York. The 2014-2015 academic year will be Demar’s third year on staff. He’s a Bonner Scholar and is the Treasurer of the program, and is also a Posse Scholar. Demar also tutors at the Reading Improvement Center at Gobin. He has met some of the most important people in his life at DePauw, and appreciates all the resources the school has to offer him. Demar is a Housing Assistant for the CLCD office.

Zack Baker is a Junior English Literature major and Political Science A minor from Fishers, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be Zack’s second year on staff. Zack is very involved with DePauw’s radio and television stations, WGRE and D3TV, and is also a member of the Gaming club and IM soccer. Zack loves the opportunities DePauw provides, and enjoys meeting different people In hac habitasseevery platea day. di Hectumst. especially loves the ladies who work in the Den, and thinks they are the sweetest workers on campus. Zack is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall second floor.

Iesha Brooks is a junior Biology major from Atlanta, Georgia. The 2014-2015 school year will be her first year on SLS staff. Iesha is very involved on campus, and is currently the President of the AAAS and Wamidan, The Treasurer of X-Cell, she is a mentor at Greencastle Middle School, and she volunteers at Beyond Homeless. Iesha likes B that classes at DePauw are challenging and stimulating, and that the faculty and staff always support students with their personal endeavors. Iesha is a FYRA for Humbert Hall second floor.

Evelyn (Evie) Brosius is a sophomore from , Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her first year on SLS staff. Evie is very involved on campus; she is an Honor Scholar, a member of Wamidan, a Tiger Ambassador, a DJ for WGRE and an editor for the Midwestern Review. She really enjoys the strong sense of community that DePauw has given her, and the true and honest devotion that the faculty and staff have for the students. Evie is a FYRA for Street Hall, first floor.

William (Billy) Burke is a sophomore from Parma, Ohio. He is an Honor Scholar, a Media Fellow, and is involved on many other things on campus like D3TV, D-News, theatre, and he is a member of the Nonfiction staff of the Midwestern Review. Billy really appreciates how open the professors are to helping the students, and how the students really create a sense of belonging for each other. He also really appreciates DePauw’s efforts to help ensure the current and future successes of the student body. Billy is a FYRA for Hogate Hall, third floor.

Xeno Carpenter-New is a sophomore Music major who is also pursuing a minor in German from Beloit, Wisconsin. The 2014-2015 academic year will be Xeno’s second year on SLS staff. Xeno is quite involved in the musical world of DePauw; he is a member of the Orchestra and chamber groups. He also is a racer in Little Five every year. He really loves how close everyone and everything is on campus, and appreciates that everyone knows or at least recognizes each other. Xeno is Program Assistant for Campus Life.

Craig Carter is a junior Biology major who is also pursuing a double minor in History and Chemistry from Chicago, Illinois. The 2014- A 2015 academic year will be his second year on SLS staff. Craig appreciates the people that make the DePauw community so welcoming, and he thinks that DePauw provides all the students Donecwith Vitae amazing Sem opportunities. Sarah Caywood is a sophomore from Lexington, Kentucky. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be her first year on SLS staff. Sarah is an Environmental Fellow and is a tutor at the Reading Improvement Center at Gobin. Sarah loves the fun atmosphere that DePauw has, and appreciates the small size of campus. Sarah is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall, first floor. B

Amanda Chastang is a junior Conflict Studies major from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 2014-2015 school year will be her second year on SLS staff. Amanda is a member of the DePauw women’s softball team, and loves the community atmosphere on campus. She believes that she has made many life-long friends here. Amanda loves the academics of DePauw, the professor’s devotion to the students, and the small class sizes that really encourages students to create strong relationships with classmates and faculty, which ultimately lead to better class performance. Amanda is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall, first floor.

Ariel Cheatham is a junior Kinesiology major from Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her second year on SLS staff. Ariel is a member of AAAS, as well as the National Pan- Hellenic Council. Ariel likes that DePauw academics are challenging and enjoyable. She really appreciates all the support that alumni give to students who are currently at DePauw, and feels like the community at DePauw is such that her close friends feel like family to her because campus is so small and close-knit. Ariel is a CRA in Lucy Rowland Hall.

Kala Cherny is a sophomore from Ivins, Utah. Kala loves the small campus and appreciates the beauty of DePauw. She loves the people she is surrounded by, both students and faculty and she enjoys the strong sense of community that the campus creates for the students. She also loves the spinach and artichoke dip at the Duck! Kala is a Program Assistant for Campus Life.

Emma Clor is a senior Biology major who is also pursuing a double A minor in Spanish and Psychology, from Huntington, Indiana. Emma is a member of the DePauw Cross Country and Track teams. She loves the great opportunities that DePauw has for all the students, like amazing speakers, concerts, and cultural traditions. Emma is a CRA in Anderson Street Hall.

Michael Davidson is a senior Computer Science major from Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his third year on SLS staff. Michael really likes the small class sizes that DePauw has, the ability to have one-on-one time with professors as needed, and the amazing networking possibilities that the school really promotes. Michael is B CRA-SLS Mentor for the academic year.

Akil Davis is a sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be his first year on SLS staff. Akil is a member of the Orchestra and also the Rock Climbing club. He really loves the size of the classes at DePauw and the ability to meet so many different people. He really appreciates the opportunities that DePauw offers to all the students, and is incredibly happy he’s made friends with so many people. Akil is a FYRA for College Street Hall, second floor.

Odessa Fernandes is a sophomore from Brooklyn, New York. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her first year on SLS staff. She’s a member of DePauw’s Track and Field team. Odessa really loves the beautiful campus that DePauw has, and she really appreciates the students and staff members who make the academic life exciting and fun for the students. Odessa is a Healthy Living Community Program Assistant.

Dione Gordon is a senior Sociology major from Chicago, Illinois. The 2014-2015 academic is Dione’s third year as a member of the SLS staff. She is a member of the Gospel choir, the National Panhellenic Council, and a volunteer with Tots Time. Dione has loved being an RA since her sophomore year at DePauw, and she loves the academics that surround the students, especially the incredibly helpful professors. She also loves DePauw’s beautiful campus. Dione is a CRA-SLS Mentor for the academic year.

Sashell Hunnighan is a junior from New York. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her second year as a member of the SLS staff. A Sashell loves all the opportunities for extracurricular activities offered to DePauw students throughout the office. Ines Giramata is a sophomore from Rwanda. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of the SLS staff. Ines is the Vice President of the International Students Association at DePauw. She believes that the professors are incredibly caring and genuine, and she really appreciated the influence and role model that her First Year RA was for her. Ines is a FYRA for Hogate Hall, third B floor.

Zachary (Zach) Jacobs is a sophomore Music Education major from Pekin, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. Zach is a member of the National Association for Music Educators, an active member of Theatre, a member of the university Band/Wind Ensemble, and the DePauw Percussion Ensemble as well. He really loves the opportunities that DePauw presents students, and the fact that the professors are simply amazing! Zach is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall, third floor.

Jazzika (Jazz) Jones is a sophomore from Lancaster, Texas. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of SLS staff. Jazz is a member of the Track and Field, a volunteer with the Best Buddies Program, and a member for the Fellowship for Student Unity. Jazz loves the friends she has made at DePauw, and the connections that are always present between current DePauw students and alumni. Jazz is a FYRA for Longden Hall, third floor.

Christine Kim is a sophomore from Evansville, Indiana. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of SLS staff. Christine is a DePauw Honor Scholar, and loves how closely knit the DePauw community is. She absolutely loves ordering late-night pizza on the weekends, and enjoying Winter Term as a student. Christine is a FYRA for Humbert Hall, third floor.

Kaitlyn Koby is a senior English Literature and Spanish double-major from the of America. The 2014-2015 academic year will be Kaitlyn’s second year as a member of SLS staff. Kaitlyn is also double-minoring in Psychology and International Business. She is involved in many things including being a member of DePauw University Band, a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team, a member A of DePauw Global Partners, and many other organizations. Brittanie LaCour is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be her first year on SLS staff. Brittanie is a member of XCell dance company, Feminista, she is a Tiger Ambassador and a member of Posse. She loves the beautiful scenery around campus, the support that DePauw gives to the Posse Program, and the people she has met from all around the world. David Lopez is a sophomore from Brooklyn, New York. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. He really enjoys the friendly students and staff on DePauw’s campus, and the amazing professors who lead the classes. He also really appreciates that DePauw is the launching pad for so many opportunities, and that he’s been exposed to so many different things, that he and the DePauw students become incredibly well rounded individuals. David is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall, ground floor.

Erin Mann is a sophomore Communications and Political Science double-major from Rocky River, Ohio. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her second year as a member of SLS staff. She is the Publicity Director and News Editor for Her Campus DePauw, a Gobin Tutor, and has a DJ show on WGRE. She loves the small class sizes that make it possible to know the professors and classmates, and the fact that DePauw focuses on every student’s individual experiences. Erin is a CRA-SLS Mentor for the academic year.

Rhiley McIntire is a sophomore from Granger, Indiana. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. Rhiley is a member of the DePauw Men’s Soccer Team, and loves the strong athletic program at DePauw. He also really enjoys the small size of the school, and the Liberal Arts education that he is receiving. Rhiley is a FYRA for Humbert Hall, third floor.

Elise Nguyen is a senior from Hanoi, Vietnam. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her third year as a member of SLS staff. Elise is majoring in Economics and minoring in Math. She is a member of the Management Fellows Program, and is a DePauw A Campus Tour Guide. She really loves the opportunities to get involved around campus, her friends, and the resources that DonecDePauw Vitae has Semto offer to students. Elise is a CRA in Mason Hall. Jerald Parks is a sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. He is a part of the Rugby Club, and is a DePauw Student Ambassador. He really loves the unique variety of classes DePauw offers, and the incredibly active student life that’s available to students. Yazid Pierce-Gray is a Junior Vocal Performance Major from Germantown, Maryland. The 2014-2015 academic year will be Yazid’s first year as a member of SLS staff. He is a School of Music admissions volunteer and loves the opportunities that are presented to the students on campus. He really appreciates the general happiness of the people around him, and the size of the school which provides the opportunity to get to know so many of those people. Peyton Powers is a sophomore from Brownsburg, Indiana. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of SLS staff. Peyton is a member of the Management Fellows Program, and the Association of African American Students. She really appreciates the small class sizes and the professors’ focus on students’ participation in class. She also really loves that DePauw is focused on the individual students, and their personal experience at the school. Peyton is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall, second floor.

Dylan Prentice is a sophomore Music Education major from Gaithersburg, Maryland. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. He is a member of InterVarsity, the National Association for Music Education, and the Catholic Student Organization. Dylan really appreciates the diversity of people on campus, and the opportunities presented to all the students as early as their freshman year. He also loves the fantastic music school! Patrick Rutledge is a Junior Music Education major, Education A Studies minor from Greenwood, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his second year as a member of SLS staff. Patrick is a member of the University Band, the National Association for Music Education, and the Student Arts Council. Mackenzie (Mack) Sikora is a sophomore from Pasadena, California. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of SLS staff. Mack is currently a member of the Trap and Skeet club, and she is also a campus Tour Guide. She really loves the positive and welcoming student body, the small classroom B environment, and that she can get a bagel on campus at almost any time of the day. Mack is a FYRA for Humbert Hall, fourth floor.

Yesenia Silva is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of SLS staff. Yesenia is a member of The Movement, Feminista, Civic Fellows and she is a Posse Scholar, along with many other things. She loves the Posse Foundation, and the small campus that allows students to really get to know each other. She also really likes the student involvement in movements, which make a difference across campus. Yesenia is a FYRA for Bishop Roberts Hall, third floor.

Kya (Ky Shine) Simmons is a sophomore Communications major from Queens, New York. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her second year as a member of SLS staff. Kya is a member of L.A.C.E. and she is also a Global Partner! She loves the GCPA and the personal relationships she can have with her professors due to the student- teacher ratio at DePauw. She also appreciates the opportunities that have been presented to her because of her work as a leader on campus. Kya is a CRA in Mason Hall.

Derrick Truby is a sophomore Music major from Germantown, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his second year as a member of SLS staff. He loves the Liberal Arts Education that DePauw offers, the music department of the school, and the opportunities that are available to all the students to work with professionals. Brock Turner is a sophomore Political Science and English Composition double major from Greenfield, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. Brock is a DJ for WGRE, A writes for The DePauw, and works with D3TV on the Pre-Recorded Late Night Show. He loves the people that make DePauw such a strong and tight-knit community. He also really likes all the improvements that are happening around campus, because it makes it an exciting time to attend DePauw. Brock is a FYRA for Longden Hall, second floor.

Amanda Volel is a junior English Writing major from New York. The 2014-2015 academic year will be her second year as a member of SLS staff. Amanda is an active member of Feminista!, and really likes the campus wide events that are always happening for students. Cody is the 2014- 2015 DePauw Student Body President, and also the President of Fraternity. Elisabeth Wilson is a sophomore from Carerville, Indiana. The 2014- 2015 academic year will be her first year as a member of SLS staff. She is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team, and a member of Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity. She really likes the community and the people who make up DePauw, along with the connections that can constantly be made through the school. Elisabeth is a FYRA for Longden Hall, first floor.

Bradley (Brad) Wise is a sophomore Chemistry major from Greencastle, Indiana. The 2014-2015 academic year will be his first year as a member of SLS staff. He is a member of the Cross Country and Track & Field teams, and is a Chapter Assisting Trained Student (CATS) member. He really likes that DePauw feels like home, and everyone is really friendly and nice. He also loves that DePauw is such a fun place to be! Brad is Humbert Hall, second floor.
