500 New Jobs at NISP Final preparations are being made to Concourse II, a £6m development at the Northern Ireland Science Park (NISP). The facility is set to create 500 new jobs when it opens in August. Concourse II is already fully let and will be home to Northern Ireland start-ups and international firms such as Kana Software, Export Technologies, Fidessa and Parity. Bombardier Doubles Profits One of Northern Ireland's biggest employers proved it has weathered the economic storm by doubling its profits in 2011. Canadian aircraft maker Bombardier's Belfast arm posted pre-tax profits of $84.5m (£53.9m) last year. Meanwhille, construction of the second stage of Bombardier's new wing manufacturing and assembly facility at Airport Road West has been completed and the final phase is expected to be finished at the end of 2012.... Up to 40 New Jobs at Mouchel Northern Ireland Water has awarded business services group Mouchel an 18-month contract which could create up to 40 jobs. Mouchel has been tasked to deliver an asset inventory and condition assessment project that will provide data on its above-ground assets. The company is actively recruiting staff for the asset inventory project and have plans to employ up to 40 people. "There are also requirements for a significant fleet of vehicles and specialist equipment supplies, providing further opportunities for local companies.
