Kelly Loeffler, Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler, former U.S. Senator from , chairs Greater Georgia, a non-profit dedicated to expanding voting, engagement and trusted elections in the state. She grew up on her family’s farm where she learned the values of hard work, faith and family. Those values—coupled with a willingness to take measured risks to live the American Dream— drove her to chase her dreams across the country over three decades, building a successful career in financial services, contributing to her community and serving the country. Loeffler has a passion for service that was instilled early on as a member of her local 4-H club. In December 2019, Kelly was appointed to the U.S. Senate by Georgia Governor . She served on the Senate committees for agriculture, veterans, health and education, and the economy. As a successful businessperson and political outsider in Washington, she applied her work ethic to accomplish an aggressive legislative agenda in her first year in the Senate, authoring bills that were passed into law supporting telemedicine, rural hospitals and veteran health and wellbeing. Loeffler received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her MBA from DePaul University before earning her Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Over her nearly three-decade business career, she helped grow small businesses into successful companies, including Intercontinental Exchange and Bakkt, where she served as SVP, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications and CEO, respectively. Her professionalism and business acumen were widely recognized and earned accolades in the private sector. A lifelong sports enthusiast who believes in the power of sports to bring people together, Loeffler co-owned the WNBA for a decade, providing an asset for the greater Atlanta community and helping to level the playing field for women’s and girls’ sports. She redirected her resources toward expanding educational choice for children of all backgrounds, and founded Greater Georgia to ensure that more voices are heard and that elections are trusted. A lifelong advocate for the American Dream for all, she co-chaired the successful Georgia GOP Victory effort in 2010, was a Presidential Elector in 2012, and a Presidential Delegate to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019. Loeffler and her husband, Jeff Sprecher, reside in Atlanta, and have been active in the community, as well as supporting health and humanitarian organizations such as Grady Memorial Hospital, Skyland Trail and the Red Cross. They were named Georgians of the Year in 2015 by James Magazine and received the Millennium Gate Prize in 2018.
