Tsinghua University was established in 1911, originally under the name "Tsinghua Xuetang". The 66 Bachelor’s programs school was renamed "Tsinghua School" in 1912. The university section was founded in 1925. Overview The PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University’s 17th school, was founded on March 29, 2012 as a joint venture between the University and the People's Bank of China (PBC).
