Our DENTAL GEL is a herbal medical product specially formulated with chamomile to help relieve inflammation and/or minor irritation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and/or RECOMMENDED DOSE throat. Each unit dose contains an equivalent of 300 mg of chamomile. Massage on the gums 5 mL, up to 5 times per day. The natural health products in the Léo et Lili range Rinse and/or gargle as needed. are designed with the minimum number of ingredients needed for transparent effectiveness. DENTAL CHAMOMILE Chamomile was used in ancient Egypt to treat fever and sunstroke. It then spread Gel to Europe among the Greeks and Romans. In the 6th century, it was used to relieve insomnia, back pain, rheumatism and indigestion. Chamomile is now part of the pharmacopoeias of 26 countries. It is used in many remedies, particularly in Europe.

Chamomile’s constituents include terpenoids and flavonoids. Terpenoids can be found in large quantities in chamomile essential oils and they have anti- inflammatory, antiseptic, and antispasmodic properties. Flavonoids have a protective action thanks to their antioxidant properties.

Commission E, ESCOP and the World Health Organization recognize the medicinal use of chamomile for treating conditions such as inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes.
