PARKS ARE INHERENTLY DEMOCRATIC PLACES — THEY BELONG TO ALL OF US. THE WAY PEOPLE ENJOY PARKS IS AS DIVERSE AS WE ARE HUMAN. The My Park Moment photo show celebrates our local and national parks and the great memories and unique experiences we all have in them. It turns the microphone over to people from across the Bay Area and beyond to share their vision of what makes parks special. This large-scale, outdoor exhibition is made up of over 400 photos shared by people from all backgrounds, including everyday parkgoers, teenagers, and professional photographers. Hand-picked by a distinguished group of creators and community leaders from thousands of submissions, these inspiring images capture the beauty of the great outdoors and the joy that time in nature can bring. The My Park Moment photo show is spread across four locations outdoors in the Presidio, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, one of America’s most visited national parks. We invite you to visit all four locations, enjoy a day of rest and exploration, and get inspired to make your own memories at the new Presidio Tunnel Tops when it opens in spring 2022.

YOUTH PAVILION AND CURATORS The Youth Pavilion at Crissy Field West features Community Snapshots taken by young people aged 12 – 18 years. They were curated by eight Community Youth Curators from around the SF Bay Area who partici- pated in a three-week summer hybrid program led by Parks Conservancy staff from Photo by Zayna Arain the Crissy Field Center. They worked with Photoville and San Francisco arts organizations to explore curation, public art, and storytelling.

It’s built on top of the Presidio Parkway tunnels, with amazing Golden Gate views you can’t find elsewhere in San Francisco. This new destination connects the historic center of the Presidio to the park’s Crissy Field waterfront. Presidio Tunnel Tops has nature play spaces for kids, picnic areas, scenic overlooks, and trails and pathways. You can even experience a classic national park campfire. It’s a destina- tion to enjoy itself and a jumping off point for other Presidio adventures.
