BUGARA SHIPMATES

1 through 6 September, USSVI (SubVets) will have its annual convention in Burlingame, CA at the Hyatt Regency Hotel near the International Airport.

Please review the information that has been posted on BUGARA website. There will be a BUGARA reunion at the same time as the convention (at the Hyatt). There are a lot of shipmates that are aging and we need to honor them, so please make plans to attend and show your support to our shipmates and BUGARA. Nothing formal is being planned for BUGARA, just a casual get together.

If you do plan to come, please contact one of the following BUGARA shipmates, so we can plan some informal gatherings and reminisce about old sea stories.

What to Pack, suggestions. Layers, layers, layers. Even in the warmest months, San Francisco visitors should always bring a light jacket. Unexpected up swells from the deep and frosty Pacific Ocean can send chilling blasts over San Francisco without notice and can change San Francisco's weather in an instant. Overall, jeans, light sweaters, long sleeve shirts and close-toed shoes make up the typical San Franciscan's wardrobe.
