Day 1 Mon, 20 Jul Depart the USA

Day 2 Tues, 21 Jul Arrive Budapest Meet your Scenic representative who will direct you to your transportation to the Budapest Marriott Hotel where the rest of the day will be on your own until a 5 pm CME class (meeting location will be in hotel packet at check in). Dinner on your own (List of nearby recommended restaurants will be provided.)

Day 3 Wed, 22 Jul Budapest (B) After breakfast, begin the morning with CME followed by a tour of this amazing city. Evening on your own. You might want to take an evening boat cruise on the Danube to take in the famous lighted sights of Budapest along the banks of the , deemed a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4 Thu, 23 Jul Budapest (B,D) Enjoy breakfast then meet for CME. Your Scenic representative will set up your transportation to the Scenic Amber . Your new home begins now. Relax or head out to see more of the city. And back onboard raise your glass to the days ahead at this evening’s welcome onboard reception.

Day 5 Fri, 24 Jul Budapest (B,L,D) Freechoice: Make the most of a guided city tour including a piano concert, or discover the Jewish history with an expert local guide. Alternatively, take a guided hike to Hill for breath-taking views over the Danube (if you didn’t get enough of this area on Wed), or journey to nearby , known for its museums, galleries and artists. You’ll have the opportunity to discover this charming town on a guided city tour, which is a highly recommended choice.

Day 6 Sat, 25 Jul (B,L,D) As you cruise the mighty Danube relax in one of the lounges or viewing areas, and enjoy the scenery as your Scenic Space-Ship sails towards the majestic city of Vienna.

Enrich Breathe in the opulence and luxury of Palais Liechtenstein. Then be enthralled by an enchanting private classical evening concert featuring the timeless music of Strauss and Mozart with a special dedication to Beethoven as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of his birth.

Day 7 Sun, 26 Jul Vienna (B,L,D) Freechoice: Take a guided tour of historic or tour Schönbrunn Palace and witness the sheer opulence of the Habsburg Empire. Alternatively, explore this majestic city on a guided cycling tour or visit the Belvedere Museum, one of ’s most stunning Baroque landmarks. Explore the greatest collection of Austrian art dating from the to the present day, complemented by the work of international artists such as Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. The museum houses the world’s largest collection of Gustav Klimt’s paintings, including the golden Art Nouveau icons ‘The Kiss’ and ‘Judith’. Alternatively, journey outside of Vienna’s city centre to its acclaimed wine , hearing tales of Vienna’s’ long tradition in wine production along the way.

Day 8 Mon, 27 Jul Dürnstein > (B,L,D) Freechoice: Be guided through Melk’s magnificent 18th century Benedictine Abbey. Or alternatively, embark on a guided bike ride along the river from Dürnstein to Melk – at your own pace, of course. Alternatively, taste your way through the sampling many regional delicacies as you go or visit a Schnapps producer and sample some of the many flavors on offer.

Day 9 Tue, 28 Jul Salzburg or Cesky Krumlov (B,L,D) Freechoice: Visit the medieval Czech city of Cesky Krumlov and discover its World Heritage-listed old town, or journey to Salzburg and explore the birthplace of Mozart and the city backdrop for the film ‘The Sound of Music’. Alternatively, stay on board for a cooking demonstration.

Day 10 Wed, 29 Jul (B,L,D) Regensburg offers a rich tapestry of experiences, from its medieval Old Town to the on its border.

Freechoice: Join a guided walk around Regensburg or take a ferry and sail the Danube Gorge to view historic Weltenburg Abbey, where you can sample beer from one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world. Or alternatively, take a leisurely cycle on your own to the monument with your Tailormade GPS device.

Day 11 Thu, 30 Jul Nuremberg (B) Depart after a wonderful farewell breakfast.

Transportation will be provided to the Nuremberg airport by Scenic.
