But many trains terminate in Haikou East Railway Station. Second class Trains are designed to travel at coach/dining car (ZEC) approximately 250 km/h and will stop at a selective of the 15 stations on the line. The total length of the route is 308.11 km, and will contain 10 pairs of trains traveling per day.[10] The fare for a full journey between Haikou and Sanya is 114 RMB for a first-class seat, and 95 RMB for a second-class seat.[10] Tickets can be purchased up to ten days in advance and are available at the station counters or from vending machines.[11] Since March 8, 2011, CRH380A started to serve this line. The 345 km western ring is planned to link up with the Hainan Eastern Ring Railway. Nearly everyone in China is on the move. China’s transport ministry expects nearly 3 billion individual trips to be made during this year’s chunyun, or “spring rush.” China is still a poor country, and most of those trips (as much as 80%) will likely be made by long-distance bus. But an increasing number of chunyun travelers will be cruising the country in air-conditioned comfort on China’s world-class high-speed rail network. High-speed rail (HSR) in China has ballooned from a single 113 kilometers (70 mile) demonstration line built specially for the 2008 Beijing Olympics into a 25,000 kilometer (15,500 mile) nationwide system. That first Beijing- Tianjin line took three years to build. The rest of the national network took just another ten. China’s originally-planned “4+4” network of four north-south and four east-west main lines is now nearing completion. An extended “8+8” network of 38,000 kilometers (24,000 miles) of high-speed rail is projected to be operational in 2025. Later improvements are likely to focus on speed rather than distance. That said, China does not explicitly define exactly what constitutes “high- speed” rail, and definitive statistics are hard to come by.

Methods: Aerial parts of T. triquetrum were extracted under reflux and partitioned by n-butanol to generate HC. The effects of HC consumption on blood glucose and lipids, insulin resistance, and liver glucose metabolism were evaluated in vivo. The main compounds of HC were tested for their effects on stimulating glucose consumption and uptake by HepG2 hepatocytes and C2C12 myotubes. Results: After HC treatment, body fat, subcutaneous fat, and epidydimal fat masses decreased (p < 0.05), while mean daily food intake was unaffected. HC (200–400 mg/kg) decreased fasting blood glucose, glycosylated serum protein (GSP), and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc); it also lowered hyperinsulinemia, improved oral glucose tolerance, and reduced hyperlipidemia and liver fat content (p < 0.05).
