TODAY’S GAME: The Quakes continue their five-game, five-day trip, as they take on the Inland Empire 66ers ( Angels affiliate) in the third game of the series on Sunday afternoon. This series is the first of two straight (the only two in 2019) five-game STANDINGS series, with Rancho wrapping up the set on Tuesday, then opening up a five-gamer at home against Lake Elsinore on Wednesday. TOMORROW JOSIAH GRAY: RHP Josiah Gray takes the mound on Sunday for his 6th start in a Rancho uniform in 2019. Gray has proved his trade status in his last couple of starts, sporting a 2-0 record with a 3.97 ERA overall as a Quake. The right-hander’s last appearance Lancaster at Lake Elsinore, 6:00 PM came on June 4th in the first game of the most recent set with Lancaster, where Rancho topped the JetHawks for the only time in the Modesto at Visalia, 6:00 PM RANCHO CUCAMONGA series, winning by a final score of 7-3. Gray completed five innings to grab his second-straight win, surrendering two earned runs on at Inland Empire, 7:05 PM three hits, with six strikeouts.
