Our staff grew from five to seven employees with the addition of Data Specialist and Fund Development Associate positions. The need for growth was in response to our continued program expansion into all areas of the state and increasing demand for First Responder training. 10,565 individuals (across all 23 counties and Baltimore City) were reached directly through resource referrals, training, recreational opportunities, and awareness events. Community Safety Program Maryland Steps Closer PFA’s community safety program continues to grow, to Meaningful Insurance offeringfirst responder training, swim safety and safety Coverage for Autism kits that include a vehicle window cling to inform first Treatment responders that an occupant in the car may have autism. Dr. Waryasz received his BS in Biology at Boston College, where he apprenticed as a strength and conditioning coach for all of the athletic teams. 6:45 am Welcome Christopher W. DiGiovanni, MD, FAOA Chief, Division of Foot & Ankle Surgery Dr. Waryasz attended medical school at Tufts University and completed his Department of Orthopaedic Surgery residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Brown University/Rhode Island Massachusetts General Hospital & Hospital program. After his residency, Dr. Waryasz completed three Newton Wellesley Hospital fellowships. His first fellowship was at Brown in Orthopaedic Trauma where Associate Professor and Vice Chairman he cared for adult and pediatric fractures. While at Brown, Dr. Waryasz was a (Academic Affairs) Harvard Medical School team physician providing sideline coverage with Brown Athletics, the Providence Bruins of the AHL and USA Gymnastics. After leaving Brown, Dr. Waryasz completed his second and third fellowships, both at MGH - one in Sports Medicine and one in Foot and Ankle.
