2. THE INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE (FIXATION OF CADRE STRENGTH) REGULATIONS, 1955

In pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government in consultation with the Governments of the State concerned hereby makes the following regulations, namely: -

(1) These regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955.

(2) The posts borne on, and the strength and composition of the cadre of the Indian Administrative Service of the various States shall be as specified in the Schedule to these regulations.
