Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules

1. These Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules apply to The Bad Seed promotion with Newstalk ZB to be held between 15th April 2019 and ending on 18th April 2019. Newstalk ZB (a Station of NZME) will conduct the promotion. Media and Entertainment (NZME) reserves the right to add and/or delete participating stations at any time.

2. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules. NZME reserves the right to exclude any person from the contest on the grounds of criminal record.

3. How to enter: Listeners are invited to watch the new season of The Bad Seed over consecutive nights from Sunday 14th April 2019 to Wednesday 17th April 2019 at 8.30pm on TVNZ 1 and note the Newstalk ZB keyword that appears during the show. Each morning (Monday 15th April to Thursday 18th April 2019) during the Breakfast, listeners will be invited to call 0800 80 10 80 with the first caller through able to quote the Newstalk ZB keyword from the previous nights’ episode winning a Panasonic 55” FX600 television. If they give the incorrect keyword, another caller will be taken to air until a winner is found.

4. Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Only one entry per person.

7. By accepting the prize, all winners grant NZME and TVNZ exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with the promotion and waive any claims to compensation for such use.

8. By entering a promotion, you confirm that the details you are entering are your own details, and are true and correct at the time of entry.

9. By entering a promotion, all entrants agree to make themselves available for a photo session if required by NZME and TVNZ and acknowledge NZME and TVNZ has the right to use these publicity photos in any reasonable manner.

10. All entrants consent to their personal information being collected and stored by NZME for the purposes of this promotion. The Promoter may disclose the entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting the promotion or communicating with entrants and, as required, to New Zealand regulatory authorities. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct their personal information to the Promoter through www.newstalkzb.co.nz. The Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at http://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/contact/website-terms-of-use-privacy- policy/. All entries will be the property of the Promoter.

11. Entrants should allow four weeks for delivery of prize.

12. Employees of NZME - This promotion's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio stations and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate families” include spouses, Grandparents, Parents, Children, and Grandchildren whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.

13. NZME disclaims any responsibility for the inability to complete or continue an entry due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection, acts of God or otherwise. Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone and/or computer equipment.

Prepared: 4/9/2019 14. To the extent permitted by law NZME will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of the prizes.

15. By participating, all winners grant NZME exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.

16. All personal details provided to participate in these promotions will be held by NZME for the purpose of this promotion and entries may be used by the NZME for future promotional and marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by entrants.

17. NZME reserves the right to refuse awarding any prize to a person who is determined to have violated a NZME rule as outlined above, gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or obtained a winner status using fraudulent means.

18. Rules may be amended from time to time by employees of NZME. NZME reserves the right to discontinue a promotion at any stage.
