Welcome to the 2019/20 season at the Kay Meek Arts Centre. As artistic director of the RESONATE SERIES, I am thrilled to present an outstanding selection of exciting programs and world-class artists on our main stage, the Grosvenor Theatre.
Our classical music off erings range from the Baroque period to the present day, performed by a remarkable variety of ensembles from percussionists to string octets. These diverse programs are all connected by a common thread: every concert will inspire you with a display of sizzling virtuosity, coupled with delicate musical soundscapes from the mastery of the performers.

In 2016, the Op. 73 (arr. Lachner) group won the Banff International and Bordeaux International String Quartet Competitions as well as the inaugural M-Prize competition. With an extensive international touring schedule, the group was the 2018 recipient of Chamber Music America’s prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award. rolstonstringquartet.com Ian Parker began his piano studies at age three with his father, Edward Parker. A student of Yoheved Kaplinsky, he holds two degrees from The Juilliard School.
