NADAL vs. MONTAÑES BRINGS BACK MEMORIES IN BARCELONA

• DAY 4 PREVIEW: Albert Montañes was the No. 1 seed and was a 261st-ranked qualifier when the Spaniards met for the first time in October 2002 at an ATP Challenger Tour event in Barcelona. On Thursday, they will collide in the Catalonian capital again, only this time Nadal is the top seed and Montañes is outside the Top 100 of the Emirates ATP Rankings. Nadal has never dropped a set against Montañes in five tour-level and Challenger matches, including his 7-6(3), 6-3 win as a 16-year-old by the name of Rafael Nadal-Parera at the IX Trofeu Ciutat de Barcelona.
