French Legal The French legal terminology training offers prosecutors and legal Ministry of Attorney General and Justice - Terminology Training for support staff, the skills to conduct bilingual criminal trials in the Criminal Justice Branch/Crown Counsel Crown Counsel provincial court and Supreme Court. The training includes French legal terminology seminars with specialized French legal terminology materials, and French legal continuing education programs. Community Services Public Library Collection; The B.C. Libraries Cooperative (B.C.LC) manages a provincial Ministry of Education, Libraries French-Language e- program called Library2go, which is a shared collection serving Branch Books and e-audio Books sixty-one (61) small to medium-sized public libraries across British Columbia. The program provides 950,000+ people with free access to e-books and e-audio books. Purchasing contents through the B.C.LC means that French e-content is accessible to more British Columbians. Early Childhood French French recreation programs offer support to young children in City of Coquitlam-Maillardville Educational Programs getting familiar with French language and culture through City of Richmond socialization, activities, music, movement, free play and stories. Health and Social Services Social Support and The project improves the delivery of social services to the Ministry of Social Development and Counselling Services in Francophone community. The project offers coordinated social Poverty Reduction; La Boussole French services to assist French-speaking homeless individuals in securing housing and necessary support to enhance their self-sufficiency. Provincial Coordination The Provincial Health Coordinator is the point of access to French- Provincial Health Services Authority for French-Language language resources on health and well-being for the Francophone Health Services community and health care providers. Develop and Grow The project helps French-speaking children to learn the vocabulary Children and Family Development; Emotions in French to manage their emotions and to value openness, diversity, Réseau Femmes inclusivity and self-respect. Child Health Passport The Child Health Passport is a booklet to record important health Ministry of Health information such as immunization, hearing, dental and eyesight checks. Francophonie Day Every year, the B.C. Government celebrates Francophonie Day. This Partnership with Government year's theme was "Honouring our B.C. Francophone History". On Communications and Public Engagement this occasion, the government paid tribute to B.C. francophone heritage through the B.C. Francophone Historic Places Recognition Project. B.C. Francophonie This sports and cultural event brings together 150 Francophone Ministry of Community, Sport and Games youth aged 14 to 18 from across the province. In addition to Cultural Development; B.C. Gaming; fostering their pride in Francophone culture, the Games enables the Conseil jeunesse francophone de la youth to develop a healthy lifestyle and leadership skills.
