Major League Lacrosse Visiting Team Information

The Atlanta Blaze sports medicine staff would like to welcome you and your team to the Atlanta area. We welcome the opportunity to assist you and your organization for your visit to Atlanta and we will answer any questions you may have regarding the medical care for your athletes while participating at our facilities. Our sports medicine staff is comprised of two full time athletic trainers, Heloise Belarmino Jones, and Jessica Peters, and two team physicians, Dr. Brandon Burris and Dr. Stan Dysart that cover the medical needs of the Atlanta Blaze organization.

Services Provided: • The Atlanta Blaze Athletic Trainers will be available at least 2 hours prior to any game day event. • 2 Certified Athletic Trainers will be present at every home event. Ø Team Physicians will be in attendance for every home game event. • The main Athletic Training space is located in the Fifth/Third Bank Stadium located on the Kennesaw State University Campus located in Kennesaw, Georgia. . Ø Modalities are available by request for your locker room facility and can include: small hydrocollator, ultrasound, and e-stim.

Sports Medicine Equipment Provided for Practices: • Practice Field:Water, cups, ice, ice bags, portable table (upon request) and biohazard supplies will be provided for practices.

Sports Medicine Equipment Provided for Games: • Game Field:Water, cups, ice, ice bags, and biohazard supplies will be provided on each bench for games. • League required emergency equipment will be located at center field during games for accessibility by both teams. • Locker Room: Water, cups, ice, ice bags, portable taping table and biohazard supplies will be provided in the visiting team locker room. • There will be a dedicated ambulance at every home game that will be located at the northeast corner of Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Important Information:

Please contact us if you have any special requests for your team 24 hours in advance. We provide services for the Atlanta Blaze from satellite locations therefore facilities, equipment and supplies at Kennesaw State University are not available for our use for MLL events.
