Big East player of the week selection multiple times.

Alivian Coates Jorgensen: Alivian was a first-team All-America defender at James Madison and was an Academic All- America as well. Alivian was an assistant coach at the University of and she spent two years as the head assistant at Virginia Tech. During her playing career at James Madison, Coates was a first-team All-America and an Academic All-America (IWLCA and GTE/CoSIDA) in 2000. She was a second-team All-America in 1999 as a junior. Coates also served as the Dukes' team captain and won first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors in 2000. She was a member of the 2000 NCAA All-Tournament Team.
