The Worship Giver " Who Gives As An Expression of Worship"

Offertory Statement: The Bible says "Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's; is holy to the Lord" (Lev. 27:30). Our church encourages each member to study seriously scriptural teachings on our practices of tithing, proportionate giving and intentional growth in giving. should ask the Lord, What percentage of our income do You want us to give back to you through our church? We should be guided in our giving by the clear teachings of the Scriptures and by the leading of the Spirit of the living Christ.

Offeratory Prayer: Ever-living and ever-giving God, You are indeed the great and gracious Giver. You have generously given us all things to sustain and enrich our lives and to enable us to bless the lives of others. We accept Your gifts with humility and gratitude: humility, because we recognize that You are the Creator/Owner of all things (and we have created nothing): gratitude, because You have abundantly supplied all our needs. We give You a tithe and more of our income as an expression of our awareness that You are Creator/Owner of all and a demonstration of our thanks for sustaining us. Accept our gifts and our thanksgiving, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

"YOU CAN'T BEAT GOD GIVING" SCRIPTURE LESSON Psalm 82: 1-8

Min: 1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; judgeth among the gods. Con: 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Min: 3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Con: 4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. Min: 5 know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. Con: 6 have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. Min: 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. All: 8 Arise, 0 God, judge the earth: for shalt inherit all nations.

SUNDAY SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS "WE STRENGTHEN ONE ANOTHER"

THE PASSAGE Ephesians 5:8-21

THE POINT We strengthen one another to live as God desires.

LIFE CONNECTION It's dangerous and foolish to lift heavy objects without help. Those who do strength training with weights know the value of a "spotter," a person who supports you to do more than you think you can and is quick to intervene or assist as needed. Christians do that for one another. As God works through us, He uses us to strengthen one another in the face of a world that calls us to follow a different path.

The Roman Road A system of presenting the scripture for salvation using basically one Book in the New Testament (the book of Romans). Start with Romans 1:16 (explain each verse). Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9-10. Next read John 10:28 and 1 John 1:9. At this point ask the person ifhe/ would like to accept Christ now. Take them by the hand and pray a prayer of forgiveness.
