You’re advised to check locations on a map: OS Landranger sheets 165 and 175, which will also cover the rides. Accommodation in Bucks and the Chilterns is not cheap. However most of the places on this list provide b&b for two, in a double or twin room, for around £60 or less; singles are generally £30+. Most of these places are in villages or rural areas. Camping
We hope – as in 2005 – to be able to accommodate a few self-contained motorhomes overnight on the car park at Longburrow Hall, Saturday night only, with no access to hall facilities at night. Please contact me if you would like to reserve a space.
For tents, caravans and motorhomes, City Farm at Radnage (formerly known as Karma Farm) is in a pleasant location, access next to the Crown PH. (grid ref 783967 on OS 165, 2 miles from Stokenchurch) Facilities are basic (two toilets and a shower) although the new owners plan to improve these. Some pitches have electric hook-up. White Mark Farm at Watlington is 6+ miles from base (grid ref 696938 on OS 175). I have heard very favourable reports of it. Good but simple facilities (including toilets, showers and wash-basins) but no electric hook-ups. Phone 01491 612295 for information.
